Spoken Word: Liberated (Juneteenth Antithesis)

The Mystery of Abstinence

“The meek will inherit the earth... after the strong are done with it.” - Harvester, 1996

Half of us watch more than we act, and the other half act more than we watch. We inherited the idea from our masters that we have the power to exercise our desires onto other people, instead of the idea that our desires work together for a common purpose. We don’t listen enough because we are taught to live in a state of urgency. And sometimes we get so caught in listening, we disembody ourselves, leaving us at the whim of other people. We have inherited the idea that it is other people’s job to manifest our reality, which truly takes away the power we have. Lost in translation with our own, we destroy ourselves and stray farther into individualism and solitude, so as to be good little productive workers or a mere casualty that gets dropped to save time, energy and therefore, money. They never free the slaves, they made the slaves free. We all have the power to push our own narratives onto other people... does it make it okay? When will we realize that as humans, as social beings, we always have obligations to each other and so there is no free will without enslaving someone else. *Slowed down audio cause copyright and I kinda like how deep I sound LOL* Music: Yin and Yang- Uyama Hiroto I don’t own rights to the music Instagram.com/SagaciousSynchronicity #juneteenth#antithesis#spokenword
